In our Hardware Accelerator Lab, we focus on design and implementation of application-specific accelerator solutions, both as independent units or as parts of processor extensions integrated into the ISA. Having access to state-of-the-art development environment, the lab targets both FPGA- and ASIC-based solutions. These efforts are aided by our strong background in simulation technologies and virtual platform building (digital twinning). Through numerous research projects, we collaborate with numerous German and EU-based hardware vendors.
