gSysC

gSysC is a class library designed for visualization of SystemC projects and their controlled simulation. Fulfilling the library dependencies given below, gSysC should run on various operating systems and configurations. For the graphical user interface the Qt graphic library by Trolltech is used. gSysC can simply be combined with all existing SystemC projects by including the gSysC header file. For more detailed visualization of the structures, e.g. how signals are linked to some ports and therefore their linkage with modules, those components need to be registered. This can be done using the gSysC macros. In future versions, the registration process will be automated by a script.
The snapshots of gSysC show first the main window, second the controller interface to run the simulation in different modes, third the systems hierarchy tree and fourth the top view of the system are depicted. The last but one figure shows the the view of a sub-module. Beside these visualisation opportunities gSysC provides the possibility of runtime evaluations of ports.
